Breitbart “News” hack John Nolte is really cranking out the fake outrage posts lately. Today he’s raging and ranting about “overt fascism” because the fanatical Oregon bakery owners who wanted to refuse service to a lesbian couple are being subjected to what he labels a “gag order” by “the Left.” (Capital L Left.)

What’s really happening is that Oregon has a law prohibiting businesses from publishing or communicating that they plan to discriminate against people based on “race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status or age.” Here’s the law: ORS 659A.409 - Notice That Discrimination Will Be Made in Place of Public Accommodation Prohibited - 2013 Oregon Revised Statutes.

And that’s why Oregon’s Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries ordered the bakery owners to stop doing this. It’s not a “gag order.” They’re not being prohibited from speaking about the case, and they’re not being prohibited from “opposing gay marriage.”

They’re prohibited from boasting that they plan to discriminate against gay people. It’s that simple.

And it’s not “the Left” — it’s Oregon state law.

Nolte’s entire post is deliberately misleading, utterly ridiculous right wing grievance theater garbage. And to top it off, this is what he tweeted to promote it:

This guy is seriously twisted — and he’s one of the main writers at Breitbart “News.” The right is getting increasingly, dangerously deranged.
