Those are brilliant!

“For that poreless android look you’ll never achieve in real life.”

“Immortalize your beauty. No one will ever know. As long as you never let anyone see you in person again.”

Fantasy in fashion and beauty ads. Just like in the movies. Except we expect our movie stars to be fantasy figures because of the nature of that business. We don’t expect not to live up to what we buy, and it’s an image killer, really—we’ll never, ever achieve those looks and worse, never be satisfied with our own real, human selves.

“I’m ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille. Don’t forget the filter.”
